Did you know that many workplaces are providing stipends or have partnered with companies such as Carrot Fertility and Progyny to offer their employees a stipend for doula care as well as childbirth education? YES, you read that correctly. We are seeing families with stipends between $2000 and $40,000 from their employee benefits. Many families are also able to use their HSA or FSA towards childbirth education classes.
Follow these steps below to access your employer’s childbirth classes benefit:
Reach out to your employer’s human resources department and see if they have a childbirth education benefit and clarify the amount and what paperwork needs to be completed.
- Reach out to Birth and Baby University via email or contact form.
- Enroll in our classes.
- We will send you a detailed invoices including all the information your employer requires.
- You pay the invoice and submit to your employer for reimbursement.
Follow these steps below to get coverage for childbirth classes through your HSA or FSA:
- Reach out to Birth and Baby University via email or contact form.
- Enroll in our classes.
- Pay the invoice for the classes with your HSA card.
- If you cannot pay with your HSA card, complete payment with your preferred method of choice, then submit a detailed receipt for reimbursement through your HSA.
